Biryani Drama by ARY Digital Pakistani drama series, produced by Fahad Mustafa and Dr. Ali Kazmi under the banner of Big Bang Productions. It is written by Zafar Mairaj, who previously penned Kabli Pulao and Dampukht, and directed by Cheekh fame Badar Mehmood. The story revolves around an innocent and obedient boy who falls in love with a simple yet lively girl he meets at university.

The drama Biryani introduces us to Nisa Majeed (Ramsha Khan), a fiercely determined and outspoken young woman carving her own path. A BBA student in her 6th semester, scholarship holder, and research fellow, Nisa’s journey is shaped by her single mother (Laila Wasti) and her charming Mamu Jan (Javed Rizvi), whose nostalgic stories add warmth to her life.
On the other side is Meer Meran Zaman (Khushhal Khan), a reserved and thoughtful young man from a privileged background. As the son of a powerful landlord and a major university donor, Meer has lived a relatively easy life, even completing his intermediate privately at home. Unlike Nisa, who’s fought hard for every step, Meer’s biggest challenge has been to stay under the radar despite his family name.
Their first encounter is far from romantic. Nisa, fiercely protective of her GPA, is reluctantly tasked by Sir Shamsi (Shariq Mehmood) to tutor Meer, a new BBA 1st-semester student. Seeing him as a distraction, she tries everything to avoid the responsibility.
With her playful Mamu’s help, Nisa concocts elaborate plans—from fake power outages to hiring local goons—to get Meer to quit. Yet, Meer’s patience and quiet persistence frustrate her as he remains steadfast, attending every tutoring session.
