Pakistan’s biggest music reality show, Pakistan Idol Season 2, officially launched today, Saturday, October 4, 2025, marking the start of a nationwide celebration of raw talent and soulful music.
A spokesperson for Pakistan Idol shared with The News that auditions held across major cities like Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Karachi saw thousands of gifted young singers showcasing their vocal skills. Out of this massive pool, hundreds have been selected to move forward and compete on Pakistan’s grandest music platform.
Notably, this season’s auditions also welcomed talented young individuals with disabilities, who impressed everyone with their passion and determination for music. These diverse voices from all corners of the country are now set to begin a remarkable journey where dreams turn into reality.
The judging panel features some of Pakistan’s biggest names in music and entertainment—Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Khan, Zeb Bangash, and Bilal Maqsood—bringing their expert opinions and charm to the competition. Adding to the buzz, the lively and witty Shafaat Ali will host the show, keeping the energy high and the audience entertained throughout.
