After years of eager anticipation, the wait is finally over! The much-awaited film Neelofar, featuring Pakistan’s favorite on-screen pair Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, is set to grace theaters this winter.
The exciting news was shared through a joint Instagram post by the film’s team, with the caption: “Agli mulaqat ka intezar rahay ga… Neelofar — This winter.”
Mahira and Fawad also unveiled the first teaser for this romantic film, sharing a striking black and red poster of themselves along with the heartfelt caption, “Will be waiting for the next meeting.”
About
Neelofar tells the poignant story of a blind girl, portrayed by Mahira Khan, who carries the film’s heartfelt narrative. Madiha Imam plays a key role, adding depth to the story, while Fawad Khan not only stars but also co-produces the project.
Written and directed by Ammar Rasool, and produced by Qasim Mehmood, the film also features a talented ensemble cast including Samiya Mumtaz, Atiqa Odho, Behroze Sabzwari, and Gohar Rasheed.
This marks the third major on-screen collaboration between Mahira and Fawad, following their beloved pairing in Humsafar and their blockbuster reunion in The Legend of Maula Jatt. Fans have eagerly awaited their return together, and this winter, that long-awaited reunion will finally light up the big screen.
